I’m currently visiting Koh Kood and was honestly shocked to see this amount of trash on what should be a beautiful, natural beach. Plastic bottles, packaging, and other waste are scattered along the shoreline. This island depends heavily on tourism, and visitors come here for pristine nature and clean beaches. Seeing this is disappointing and damaging to Koh Kood’s reputation. I truly hope local authorities, businesses, and residents take more responsibility for keeping the beaches clean. Protecting the environment is not only about pride — it’s about the future of tourism here. Koh Kood is stunning, but it deserves better care

One of, if not the best beach on the island. Unfortunately you will find some plastic on the beach or in the water during high tide. If you ignore it or even do something about it, you can find a beach with beautiful crystal clear water, white sands, nice food along the beach, a warf and even small snorkelling spots. Loved the stay here, my favourite beach on the whole island.

Ao Phrao Beach was the first beach I visited in Koh Kood, and it ended up being my favorite among all the beaches here. The shoreline is long with crystal-clear water, and the sea is incredibly calm. It’s absolutely perfect for anyone looking for peace, relaxation, and a quiet escape away from the crowds.

Loved this beach for a good sunset. Perfect location with a beautiful sandy beach! 🏖️ there are not to many restaurants. So we went to another location for the food. The water is clean and clear. There are some swing to sit on. And also some chairs where available. There is also a beach bar. Many beaches have loud music and here it was very nice and no loud music. Loved it

Common Thailand, don't you have any pride? I think, except for Bali, I have never seen a dirtier beach in my life. And I have been to hundreds of beaches all over the world. There are two resorts on this beach who's employees are just sitting around an old doing nothing. They could easily keep the beach clean or at least cleanER. They charge for the sun beds but don't pick up garbage... Nice .... The disappointment was real with this one because everyone hyped this beach so much. The water doesn't seem too clean either. Sure it is clear but there's foam on it here and there which usually indicates pollution and high amounts of organic waste in the water. The garbage also doesn't seem to be fresh, most of it looks like it has been in the beach for weeks or even months. Terrible. But sure... Keep on hating on environmentalists. If this review triggers you, you're part of the problem. If you've ever left garbage behind or flick your cigarettes away, you're the direct cause of this.
