Food was mediocre. Service was absolutely terrible. The woman taking our orders was incredibly rude, didn’t greet back, ignored us while trying to place our order at the front for 2 minutes , walked away in the middle of us asking for assistance, didn’t smile once, and was overall sullen and unwelcoming. The surrounding environment and setting is lovely however the service does not warrant a revisit. Would not recommend
So today, there was a particularly Karen lady who was in front of me in the line. Not only was she super intimidating but she also started clicking her fingers and the staff and demanding they start making the smoothies straight away whilst she was still listing her order still. Her tone of voice to people who were making her food and drinks was disguising and no one deserves to be spoken to in that way so I just wanted to write this review to say we see all the staff members of this cafe you guys are doing amazing, service is always fast, friendly and the coffee is perfect.
5 🌟 for this hidden gem. Great food, service and location. One of my favourite places to go work from. Try their almond butter paradise smoothie bowl or smashed avo on toast.

Mellow Nello Coffee is an absolute gem! The coffee is top-notch, with rich flavors and expertly crafted drinks. The atmosphere is so inviting, and I love that it’s pet-friendly—there’s a lovely grassy area where dogs can run and play. Plus, there’s a cool plant shop nearby, which adds to the charm. The yoga classes in the area make it the perfect spot to relax before or after a session. If you’re in the Salt Rock area, this is a must-visit for great coffee, good vibes, and a welcoming community feel!
