​We had the most amazing wine tasting experience at Spier, and it was all thanks to our incredible hostess, Ryna! ​From the moment we sat down, Ryna made us feel incredibly welcome. Her knowledge of the wines was impressive, but it was her warm, engaging personality and attentive service that truly made the day memorable. She didn't just pour the wine; she shared the stories behind them and tailored the whole experience beautifully to our tastes. ​The farm itself is gorgeous, but Ryna's exceptional hospitality was the absolute highlight of our visit. If you go to Spier, definitely ask for her, she is an absolute gem! Thank you, Ryna, for a wonderful afternoon. Also thank you to Tanita for putting us on the Spier journey, We will definitely be back!

Oh my goodness — what a wonderful outing to Spier. Here, the sunset arrives in phases: first over the mountains, and then again across the water, as if the day refuses to end without one last masterpiece. The birds settle onto branches hanging over a mirrored dam after a long day, while the estate slowly softens into evening magic. The service was fantastic, and the Premium Wine Tasting? An absolute masterpiece.

We did a self harvest in the food garden. Although we went the wrong week (after they had harvested) we thoroughly enjoyed the experience of selecting and picking our own produce. We had a lovely lady, Jolanda, who assisted us and answered all our questions with patience and knowledge. I would rate this experience as a 10/10

Beautiful and extraordinary wine estate with a lot to offer and an extremely good wine and chocolate pairing. We didn’t booked a tasting but when we pitched up with a group of six and also quite late, we still got a friendly welcome and a seating to our taste. The wine chocolate pairing was of a fine quality and also the cheese and charcuterie boards were excellent and very reasonable for their price. We were astonished by some wines - especially the Block 5. The outside and inside areas of the wine estate are absolutely magical. You literally could spend the whole day here. For eating in the different restaurants we definitely recommend to book ahead. We would love to come again and explore more what Spier has to offer!
