We experienced a very well guided tour by the tour leader Coen. He is a walking encyclopaedia of information. We also discovered that my husband's late mother's ancestor, Jacques Malan, a French Huegenot , his wife and two of their grandchildren are buried under the floor of the church. He landed in the Cape on 4 August 1688.

Great church in the typical reformed tradition with a higher pulpit and fixed church seating... excellent sound.

Very nice building and pipe organ, and we were able to rent for the day rather than for only an hour like most churches. The hall is a bit ugly.

Went there for a funeral. Not a happy occasion. But a lovely family church
