A place you can call home, a loving family, a save place, a place where you can be yourself in te presence of the Father and people don't look at you for being different. A place where diversity is celebrated. A place where the holy spirit moves. A place where you will get and hear only but the TRUTH. A place you can grow and learn. A place you will find pure and good hearted leaders. A place you will find and learn honor.
The most loving, caring and passionate church for people and God that I know. We come to camp around His presence and not a sermon, and in that He will always speak/respond.
Awaken Church has genuinely become more than just a church I attend. It’s a place where I’ve grown in my relationship with God, found community, served, and met people who have had a real impact on my life. What I love most is the genuine hunger for God’s presence, the emphasis on prayer, worship and the Word, and the way people are encouraged to get involved and use their gifts. No church is perfect, but I’m genuinely grateful for my experience at Awaken and for the people and leaders God has placed in my life through this church. It truly feels like a spiritual home to me.
