The Summer Fête (Kermis) is held annually at Huis Horison on the first Saturday of November. You can enjoy a family morning browsing handmade goods from various workshops, including arts and crafts, bakery items, woodwork, needlework, and knitting. The event also features traditional food stalls, a book sale, and a race.

About Huis Horison
Huis Horison is a non-profit organization in Stellenbosch providing holistic care for adults with a primary intellectual disability. We operate as a residential and sheltered-employment center, housing and caring for up to 102 people. We offer employment to our residents and 35 day workers across ten work areas like sewing, recycling, repair, cooking, and gardening. Our team provides client-centered services, including medical care, social work, recreational, and spiritual support.
