Went for a Ladies One Night stay. It was lovely! We stayed in a cottage (Blacksmith) and it was so cozy and luxurious. There was a fire place that kept the living room so warm. Lunch at Geuwels was really delicious. The Indian Runner Duck was definately a high-light. We also had some Spa treatments which was so rejuvenating. The staff everywhere were so friendly, jovial and welcoming. Dinner at the big house was also delicious and the atmosphere perfectly matches the excellent decor. Breakfast was also amazing. Highly recommend! Excellent choice for a winter get away! The only reason for no full 5 stars was just due to a few tiny little things in the rooms that wasn't 100% perfect (I'm quite judgemental when it comes to rooms) and there was a tiny glass breakage incident that was dealt with quickly and professionally.

I visited Cape Town for my sister’s 50th birthday celebration and stayed at two hotels during the trip, with Vergenod being one of them. It completely exceeded my expectations. The rooms are beautifully designed, spacious, modern, spotless, and thoughtfully appointed with everything needed for a comfortable stay. What truly sets Vergenod apart, however, is the exceptional staff. They were consistently friendly, helpful, and responsive, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. I rarely leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience because they made my stay truly exceptional. I’m already looking forward to returning with my family next year. Highly recommended!

I had the most amazing stay at this hotel, one that I will always remember with so much joy. My husband and I chose it for our elopement ceremony after finding it online, and from the very first interaction, the team made us feel genuinely cared for. Not only did they help make our ceremony incredibly special, but every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. The staff went above and beyond, the room was beautiful and comfortable, the food was excellent, and the entire property had such a cozy, elegant, and peaceful atmosphere. What stood out the most was the genuine hospitality and attention to detail. The staff helped create memories we will cherish forever, and I’m so grateful we chose this special place to celebrate such an important moment in our lives. Highly recommended.

We had such a wonderful stay at this charming winery. The entire place is absolutely beautiful, with lovely cottages that made it easy to slow down and truly relax. The service was outstanding—warm, attentive, and thoughtful throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the duck parade, which was simply delightful. Our children absolutely loved it, and it added a special, memorable touch to the experience. We felt completely at ease from start to finish and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and picturesque getaway.

We stayed at Vergenoegd Löw Wine Estate for three nights and it was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The setting is stunning – peaceful vineyards, beautiful grounds, and a real sense of calm that makes it perfect for switching off. The accommodation was luxurious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, with every detail taken care of. Waking up to the views and the sounds of nature was a highlight in itself. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay – warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing. The wine tasting experience was excellent, and the dining was a standout, with high-quality food and a great atmosphere. Overall, it was a truly special experience and somewhere we would happily return to. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, high-end stay in the Cape Winelands.
