What a wonderful experience at Blou! A special thank you to our waitress, Megan, who was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. She made us feel right at home and went out of her way to assist us with a warm coffee even though the restaurant was already closed. The hospitality didn't stop there. The chef kindly treated us to a complimentary Malva pudding and asked for our feedback, which was such a thoughtful touch and my first time rating a dish Gordan Ramsey style. The pudding was absolutely delicious ( I rate it a 9.3) and the gesture made our visit even more memorable. Exceptional service, warm hospitality, and great food. We won't remember the the coffee or malva but Definitely the way you made us feel in a time were we needed a little more love after a great lost. Thank you for your friendly smiles,kindness and waves as you saw us again walking past. Highly recommended! Blou you have a special place in our Montagu story.

Lovely setting to discover... Food was good. Service needs fine tuning to make the experience meet the venue and the setting they wish you to enjoy.

The food was very tasty — we only ordered starters, but everything was excellent. The wine, however, was a bit too sharp for my taste. What really disappointed us was the service. We were served reluctantly, while the couple next to us — who bought six bottles of wine — received full attention and very warm treatment. When we arrived, we were told that the kitchen closes at 16:00, with an intonation that made us feel unwelcome, as if we wouldn’t have time to order anyway. The staff didn’t smile, or only forced a smile, and overall it felt as though serving us was a favour. Food 5 Service 3 Wine 4 Atmosphere 5 Unfortunately, thank you but we won’t be returning. We were served by the youngest waitress.

Highly recommended if you're serious about quality Coffee!! The latte art was a beautiful microfoam heart surrounded with the perfect caramel crema and really set the tone for a great coffee experience. The smell and taste were well balanced, smooth and not acidic at all. The microfoam texture was perfect — creamy, silky and blended beautifully when stirred. I could take a sip immediately without burning my mouth, which tells me it was made at exactly the right temperature. This is honestly the best cup currently offered in Montagu. I’m seriously impressed. Well done Team Blou @bluevines..

The restaurant is absolutely beautiful with a wonderful ambiance. We had reserved a table and were greeted warmly upon arrival. The service was exceptionally polite and attentive, making us feel very welcome throughout the evening. The food was delicious and full of flavor, from the appetizers to the main course. There was also an excellent selection of wines that complemented the meal perfectly. We truly enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant and had a lovely time savoring each dish. Overall, it was a delightful evening in a charming setting with great food, fine wine, and outstanding service. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.
