A very serene cathedral church located in the Franschhoek area. It is mid-sized, not particularly large, but that actually adds to its charm and peaceful atmosphere. What truly stands out is the sense of calm and serenity you feel here. The surroundings are beautifully maintained and filled with flowers, creating a spectacular and soothing environment. It’s a wonderful place to slow down, reflect, and enjoy a quiet moment amid nature.

I visited last week - this old church built in 1847 is really impressive. It’s full of heritage with lots of historical pictures inside. A great spot to soak in some local history

One of the cleanest and well built churches I have seen in a while. The architecture is amazing, very old building style. And the gardens are wonderful to walk around. There is no entrance fee, but a donation is welcome.

The Dutch Reformed Church, AKA Nederduitse Gereformeerde Kerk Franschhoek, was built in the first half of the nineteenth century. Renovated recently, its attractive and very picturesque whitewashed silhouette is hard to miss. It's centrally located on Franschhoek's main thoroughfare, namely Huguenot Street.
