Excellent cozy setting and food that is to die for, along with a fabulous wine list showcasing the local wine makers. The menu is always changing with each season and I have never had a disappointing meal there. Highly recommend for a fantastic evening out with topnotch service.

Monneaux is one of the few restaurants in Franschhoek that’s à la carte whereas majority has a set menu. Lovely establishment also offers accommodation with a beautiful pool area. Service was five star, friendly and welcoming staff. We were served with complimentary hot baked rolls. Food was deliciously plated and flavorful. I would definitely recommend Monneaux 100%

We had a wonderful experience at Monneaux Restaurant. The food was outstanding — beautifully presented, full of flavor, and clearly prepared with great care. What made the evening truly special, however, was our hostess Lizzie. She was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful throughout our visit. Her kindness added a personal touch that made the dinner unforgettable. Highly recommended.

Visited Monneaux in March. we didn’t have the opportunity to sit outside on the fountain terrace, but this didn’t take away from our experience. The Manor House had its charm with the multiple rooms creating an intimate, homely atmosphere. This is one of few child-friendly fine dining options in Franschhoek, known as gourmet capital of the Western Cape. The thoughtfully curated children's menu goes beyond the usual generic options. In fact their dishes are on par with the adult selections, offering sophisticated yet appealing choices for younger palates. As a father of three, and foodie, this is most important.

This is a very enjoyable place to have dinner, staff are exceptionally friendly and professional, considering the price point, the food was well presented and full of flavour. The chef had made us fresh Malva puddings which were superb. The setting is relaxed and definitely envelopes you in a feeling of being in a countryside restaurant in France.
