Nestled just outside the bustling heart of Franschhoek, La Ferme is the perfect nature retreat. It's a beautiful working farm that feels wonderfully isolated yet is only a quick drive from town, striking an ideal balance for exploring the Winelands . The setting is what truly steals the show. It borders a nature reserve, offering stunning mountain views, a crystal-clear river, and that absolute peace and quiet you crave on holiday. Waking up to birdsong and the sounds of the farm was blissful . Our cottage was private, tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed, but the highlight was undoubtedly the wood-fired hot tub. It was the perfect spot to soak under the stars after a day of wine tasting, and the hosts even prepped it for us so we could jump right in . The hosts, Tim and his team, were phenomenal—incredibly welcoming and full of great local recommendations . We can't recommend La Ferme highly enough for anyone looking for a tranquil, beautiful, and genuinely memorable stay.
