Although the museum was closed we could take photos. It looks like renovations are happening at the moment. Franschoek is just a lovely town.

I was attending the Capitec Cap and Champagne festival. The place is beautiful. Would visit again for museum and scene

Beautiful views, old furniture and loads of pieces, this museum and monument is a must visit. There is a ton of history about the French Huguenots that come to South Africa. There is planets of parking in the street. And tickets are available across the street in the annex. There is also a wonderful perfume museum to smell around. I recommend coming during summer or when it’s not raining, as you will walk between the shops and places.

Amazing place to go to for a Sunday afternoon drive. So much to see and so much to do. Art gallery's, shops and restaurants galore. All I can give is my opinion of what I experienced and I had a great one. All of this to see in Franschhoek.
