A great market in Franschhoek, very enjoyable and lively, often filled with both locals and visitors. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, making it a perfect place to spend a leisurely day. A great place to hang out, it mostly a place for food and drinks and some shopping of interesting local items, highlight was listening to vinyl records of retro music and drinking cocktails or beers with a wide array of food snacks. lots of fun, best of a sunny saturday where the shaded market n music reigns supreme.

Beautiful market with lots to chose from, jewel, clothing, souvenirs, homemade food and delicacies. I bought a Beautiful shirt and a cap. It's easy to find parking on the side streets. Definitely recommend a visit

As far as markets go it has some really nice stalls. Bargains are far and few between and the beer stall sells you a 500ml beer in a 330 ml cup for R50, not cool. The food vendors are nothing special to write home about and the tacos take so long to make and were very skimpy on the cheese and slightly burnt tacos. A cup of juice will set you back R70. Just sharing my experience, I am sure that there are some great experiences and deal to be had but a bit of a tourist trap.
