What an amazing school. Seeing our daughter flourish over the four years at WTS tells us we made the right choice. The dedication of the teachers, the supportive environment, and the values instilled in the students have made a remarkable difference in her confidence and growth. Wonderful experience for my daughter in part time school: nurturing her abilities in a creative and vibrant environment. She absolutely loves it. ‘The Next Act’, the recent part time school production was exceptionally directed and choreographed, showcasing young talent. Highly recommended.
I recently had the pleasure of watching Waterfront Theatre School’s junior production of The Next Act, an entirely original work created by the school’s faculty and staff, and it was an absolute delight. From start to finish, the standard of performance was remarkably high, especially considering the young cast. These were not performers treated as “recreational” students, but rather as true young professionals in training. I really appreciated the presence and guidance of the assistance teachers on stage for the little ones. They set a beautiful example of professionalism, , enthusiasm, supporting the younger performers while empowering them to shine. It was heartwarming to witness such a strong sense of mentorship and to see the next generation of theatre-makers being nurtured. The writing itself was brilliant. Clever, engaging, and suitable for young, old & in between. The production was cohesive, seamless, and full of passion. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and left feeling inspired by the calibre of work being produced at Waterfront Theatre School junior school.
My son has been dancing at Waterfront Theatre School since 2020. This past season he was chosen to dance for Cape Town City Ballet in the Nutcracker. This would not have been possible without the excellent dance training he has been receiving from WTS. Thank you WTS
My son attends dance and drama classes at the Waterfront Theatre School. It was the best decision I made as he's become extremely confident and he simply loves it. He especially loves his teachers and made amazing friends
