My daughter only 10 years old. She loves the place, every single BJJ class is a moment of pleasure! And the teacher, the people around the Gymn are all very caring and amazing ! Thanks Jason for accommodating us

Great and welcoming gym. Solid technique that led to positional rounds. No ego on the mats, just everyone trying to get better. Good vibes. I've trained in many countries and I would recommend this spot to folks in Cape Town or passing through. OSS 🤙🏿

Dropped in for a couple of classes while I was in Cape Town for work. Luke and the team were very welcoming and respectful, but also great at pushing and encouraging each other. They seem to have a solid culture. I highly recommend Urban Jiu Jitsu!

Visiting from Durban and decided to drop in for a session while in Cape Town, a very welcoming vibe. Great energy on the mats, solid technical coaching, and good fun. Good people, and a great atmosphere. If you’re in Cape Town and looking to train, or thinking of starting Jiu Jitsu, hit coach Luke up. PS: If you thinking of starting Jiu Jitsu - just do it. It will change your life.

Urban has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. The gym has such a strong team culture. It's welcoming, tough and genuinely focused on helping everyone improve no matter your level. The training is across various levels but the environment never feels intimidating. My coach, Luke, is outstanding. He has a great way of breaking things down so they actually make sense, pushes you to work hard and genuinely cares about your progress on and off the mats. He creates a space where you’re challenged, supported and constantly learning. Just don't try and wristlock him...haha. Last but definitely not least, my little community of martial artists and grapplers are the light of my life, you will not meet a cooler bunch of humans! Whether you’re brand new or competing regularly, this is the kind of gym that makes you want to keep showing up. Couldn’t recommend Urban enough. Come roll with us!
