Theatre on the Bay offers a fantastic overall experience. The location is excellent, with plenty of nearby restaurants, making it easy to enjoy a meal before or after the show. Parking is convenient, especially if you arrive early. A great touch is the option to pre-order and reserve your drinks for intermission, which saves time and lets you make the most of the break. The seating was comfortable, and the acoustics were excellent. I could hear every word clearly throughout the performance. Most importantly, the play itself was absolutely amazing. The production was captivating, and we had a wonderful time from start to finish. I would highly recommend Theatre on the Bay to anyone looking for a memorable night out in Cape Town.

The theatre on the bay is a beautiful intimate theatre. It has a beautiful lounge and a full restaurant above. The theatre seats around 200 people and the seats are comfortable. There a patron rest rooms and refreshment stations. The productions presented here are of a very high calibre. There is a dedicated parking area for patrons as well as some outdoor seating space to enjoy the spectacular ocean views. All round a lovely experience.

First time @ Theatre on the Bay...a little bit late with review but...Oh my goodness what a wonderful and special theatre and show. We attend the Rocky Horror musical in April...topnotch performance, words can't fully describe the amazing choreograhy🏆🏆🏆 ... Will we visit again??Yes , yes, yessssss

We went for the Rocky Horror Show, it was ASTOUNDING! Honestly incredible, the cast, the costumes, the set - everything was so well done. What a treat for the eyes! My only critique on the venue is that there were only 2 bartenders on duty, which meant many people weren't able to be served before the show or during the 20min interval. At one point one of them was making a whole daquri, blending ice and alles 🤣 it took so long for him to make one drink while everyone else waited - so I would suggest having more bartenders on duty. Other than that, it was wonderful. Clean well lit bathrooms, comfy seats in the theatre. A wonderful experience, we'll definitely be back for more shows in the future.

We went to go see Rocky horror and it was AMAZING! Frank was LEGEND! Better than Tim Curry could EVER! Very nice theater and the staff was so friendly!
