We asked the door guy if the place was busy. He looked at us, said yes, and told us it was a great spot. We paid the cover and walked in, it was practically empty. Worse than that, the few patrons inside were hands down the worst crowd we’ve encountered in Cape Town. Awkward, unpleasant, and completely killed any chance of a decent night. The vibe was off immediately. We walked straight back out and asked for our cover charge back since we’d clearly been misled. Of course, “it doesn’t work that way.” Don’t waste your time or money. There are far better places in this city.

If you care at all about respect and local quality of life, avoid supporting a place that disregards everyone around it. This club has absolutely no sense of responsibility toward its neighborhood. The noise levels go far beyond acceptable limits — not just occasional loud music, but deep bass that rattles windows and makes it impossible for residents to sleep several nights a week. It’s not nightlife — it’s pure disturbance.

We live across the street, and because of your extremely loud music we haven’t been able to sleep for an entire week. The noise goes on late into the night and makes normal rest impossible. Please turn the music down and be more respectful to the people living nearby!!!

Mixed feelings. Great drink prices, cool atmosphere, and decent music. The night I went it seemed like it was mostly college/ high school kids, lots of repetitive 2000s/2010s hip hop/rap popular American music - like over and over again without stop. From the teach me how to dougie to wobble and just ugh no. The vibe is cool though. There is a rooftop that overlooks Long Street and a small den with an arcade machine and seats like a clubhouse. Then you also have the main dance floor and a deck with more seats and another view of Long St. The place wasn't as crowded when I went on a Saturday, but other bars nearby like Tau were. 50 rand entry ($3) and they accept card.
