If there was an option to rate the service minus something I would rate it -10 stars. We came to watch the rugby here, they were quick to give us a table with wet chairs,the waiter was literally wiping the table next to us,but left us standing. We had to ask him to please wipe our chairs,he just stared and walked away. We ordered 2 beers, 2 beers!!! And never got it,so my fiance had to walk to the bar himself to fetch it. We then ordered chicken livers which took a million years to prepare and when it finally came they didn't bring any cutlery. Will not recommend anyone to support a place with such bad service!!!! We had to eat the chicken livers with our hands!!!! No man Grand Daddy, do better. Train your staff or sell this place to someone who wants to be in the hospitality industry.

My husband and I decided to try out the Airstream trailer option for our recent 31st wedding anniversary. On arrival we were greeted by friendly professional staff members that checked us jn. Up we went to our trailer on the rooftop of the Grand Daddy Boutique Hotel. We opened oir trailer "Bloomin Daisies". Wow. How wonderful they made the room. Heart shapes in the bed with red rose petals everywhere. A lively bottle of wine and a beautiful personal anniversary note for the team. The trailer is small, however, very well set up. Everything you need at your fingertips. We also had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, The Grand Deli. Once again, we were greeted with friendly staff. Food was good and the atmosphere cozy and intimate. Overall a great time spent and will definitely reccomend this visit. Its different, unique and a fresh approach to the same old hotel room feel. Thank you Grand Daddy Boutique Hotel Team. You guys are surely Grand 😍

The hotel’s biggest strength is its excellent location, while the lack of complimentary parking, coupled with a parking fee of R100 per day, is its main drawback. The rooms are compact but comfortable and cozy. The staff is exceptionally friendly, courteous, and helpful. As strict vegetarians, we truly appreciated the extra care taken by the chef in preparing suitable vegetarian meals for us. The restaurant serves delicious food, adding to the overall experience. We had a very comfortable stay, and the dedicated staff deserves full credit for making it so enjoyable.

I recently visited the Grand Daddy Boutique Hotel for a friend’s birthday celebration, where she had booked the Rabbit Room with an Alice in Wonderland theme. I absolutely loved the authenticity and creativity of the room it truly felt whimsical and unique. The bar and lounge area were equally impressive, with a neat yet rustic atmosphere that made the experience feel warm and inviting. The bathrooms were clean and thoughtfully equipped, even including a flat iron for the ladies to use, which was a lovely touch. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I’m definitely looking forward to returning for a more casual visit to the hotel in the future.

We recently stayed at the Grand Daddy on arriving to Capetown. The hotel amenities are nicely done, and our room was spacious. The staff at the Grand Daddy were fabulous, helpful, friendly and always greeted us with a smile and conversation. This was a good place to base ourselves from, and was easy to get Ubers to/from other central locations. At night the area can be quite noisy, but the hotel provided ear plugs which was amazing. The area outside on the road early morning and evenings didn’t feel particularly safe, but the hotel itself had security and staff at reception and felt very safe. I would recommend staying here
