I have some mixed reviews regarding our experience on Easter Sunday. The food, entertainment for the kids and ambience was excellent. We especially enjoyed the quiz and had lots of fun trying to guess the answers. BUT I feel the choice of movie, Wonka, was a terrible choice. Half the movie was shot at night or in dark rooms or streets and we couldn't see much at all. In fact I would say we probably could only appreciate 40% of the entire outdoor " Movie" experience. Please can the planners and selection committee carefully screen which movies are suitable for outdoor watching in the future. We look forward to our next Galileo experience.

The Galileo Cinema Experience Is One For The Books. They Also Have a Variety of Drinks & Food Sold Behind As well as Restroom Facilities Available. You Get a Free Booking For Your Birthday Month & There is a Chair & Blanket Available As it Gets Quite Chilly.

I had an amazing time at the Galileo Open air cinema. It was really lovely and vibrant. You get discounts if you’re a student/if it’s your birthday as well. They sell all sorts of snacks/food as well as all sorts of drink. You’re given a backseat as a well a blanket included in your ticket. Great place for a date. I really enjoyed this and I will definitely do it again.

We watched a movie yesterday to the Galileo Open Air Cinema, Kirstenbosch, atmosphere was fantastic and the blankets n chairs, popcorn 🍿 n soft drinks for the vips were adding to the convenience. We were lucky wasn’t windy, but in general you need to dress warm. The movie 🎥 weren’t the best though, n probably that’s why it wasn’t that crowded. Recommend it!

Highly recommend anyone to experience watching a movie outside. The crew is absolutely helpfully and friendly. The food stalls are don’t overprice their products and I believe they are reasonable prices. The Talladega Grill food was pretty decent and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The seats were comfortable and the space between each group was great. I didn’t feel like I was sitting on top of anyone. Even though it was fully sold out on Christmas eve. The weather was perfect and we didn’t need the blankets the entire time. You definitely should arrive early if you want a decent seat. I cannot wait to go again.
