An independent shop with a wide variety of books and author events
Such friendly people and such a warm environment. I loved browsing through the big variety of books and with help was able to find exactly what I was looking for. Ended up buying a book I would not have thought of, recommend by the author Werner Pretorius himself. He even signed the book for me and it was a joy to read sitting on a cozy couch with tasty coffee.
Excellent book store. Has very wide variety of books for everyone. Don't forget to check out the basement area as well that has more books.
Dennis works there and he's a wonderful guide and help. I saw and heard him helping others and then he helped me. Between him and the cashiers, buying a book as a gift was a pleasure.
What a beautiful and warm book store in the heart of Gardens, Cape Town. My wife and I were on our way to do some plant shopping and happened to pass by this little gem. Large variety of books and genres to choose from, warm and friendly service and don't forget to check the little section on the lower floor too for more! Only a pity that we didn't have time to check it out more thoroughly, but we will definately be back again soon. Thanks Book Lounge
Great and eclectic variety of books. Some staff were friendly others seemed bored. But the books made this a pleasant experience.
