Was about to watch spiderman here. Aspect ratio was reduced , sound was broken. Spoke to the supervisor who spoke to the technician on phone . Said it’s supposed to be like this This has happened before , Lord of the rings , etc They normally correct this before the movie starts The service today was not that No manager to assist Your Cinema 12 is not to standard. Will have to go to cavendish. I don’t think you will listen to this feedback but hopefully others will avoid the same mistake I made trusting in your service

Very bad experience. The movie is literally three hours long, and they don’t even have proper food available. The only thing they offer is popcorn with absolutely no taste, and they give you a powder to put on top of it to add some flavor. On top of that, when I asked for tissues, they told me to go to the toilet and get them myself. I also asked for a plastic cup, and they refused to give me one. For a cinema, I expected much better service and basic amenities. Overall, a very disappointing experience and definitely not worth it.

I was not entirely pleased with my visit to Ster-Kinekor Cine Prestige, V&A. The cinema itself was comfortable and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the one aspect that detracted from the experience was the service I received from the staff member on duty, Kaylee-Anne. From the moment my friend and I approached the counter, I found her manner unprofessional. She was abrupt in the way she spoke to us and came across as dismissive, which made us feel as though we were inconveniencing her simply by placing the preferences of our orders. I requested a particular slushi flavour and was given the wrong flavour. When I returned to have the issue corrected, rather than acknowledging the mistake or offering a simple apology, she was rude and insisted that I had not specified the flavour correctly by referring to it by its colour. I understand that mistakes happen, and I would have had no issue with the mix-up if it had been handled professionally. The lack of courtesy and basic customer service was disappointing. While I enjoyed the cinema itself, this interaction left a negative impression and fell below the standard of service I would expect from a premium cinema experience.

Very disappointed with the customer service we received during our recent Cine Prestige visit at the V&A Waterfront. The staff member assisting us, Kaylee-Anne, was rude, dismissive, and unaccommodating throughout the ordering process. When taking our drink order, she asked "what drinks?" in a blunt manner. When we asked what options were available, she quickly and vaguely replied with "water, slushies or cool drink," making us feel uncomfortable and rushed. While we were the only ones there getting our movie snacks. The same occurred when she asked about our popcorn toppings. She constantly mumbled, making it difficult to understand her. When we asked for clarification, she responded with visible impatience and attitude rather than assisting us. She then mumbled instructions about going to our seats and indicated this by waving her hand. When we asked her to repeat herself because we could not hear or understand what she had said, we were ignored. Once our order was ready, she handed us the popcorn while we were still trying to gather our belongings and simply stood staring at us. There was no courtesy, no explanation, and not even a simple "enjoy the movie." As customers paying for a premium Cine Prestige experience, we expected a much higher standard of service. Unfortunately, this interaction left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome, and fell far below the level of customer care we would expect from Ster-Kinekor. Credits given to the theatre and presentation, it was very enjoyable, being able to sit back and watch our movie with our feet up. However the service from Kaylee - Anne was 0.

Saw an IMAX movie last night and while the movie was great the overall experience as Ster Kinekor was terrible. As the movie starts I'm seeing double and I hear a few other people complain about also seeing that. I leave the theatre to go complain and they tell me there are new IMAX glasses that I need to buy. I tell the employee that I'm not the only person complaining that they're seeing double and he takes me to find some spare pair of the new IMAX Laser glasses to show me - he can't find them so I just go buy another pair. While I'm on my way to buy a new pair another guy comes out of the movie having the same issue, he says he bought his IMAX glasses a month ago and already they are outdated. We go to collect our glasses from the kiosk and the staff know we are there to buy the glasses for our movie that has already started but don't bother to open up another till to speed the process along (there were other people getting popcorn for a different show). Eventually get my glasses and got back to watching the movie after missing the first 10 minutes. What is ridiculous about this situation is that there were so many opportunities to tell us that we needed the newest glasses to watch the show, that this is a known issues and a spare pair of the IMAX laser glasses are kept aside for this exact purpose. There are no signs anywhere saying you need the new glasses, not on the movie poster, not in the surrounding area and not by the station you go to collect popcorn. I was there with someone else who did buy the new glasses because they didn't have any and no one told us when we were collecting that we needed these new glasses even though we were buying 1 pair and there were two of us. When our tickets were being scanned the staff member could have checked in that we had the right glasses. Even in the cinema once the trailers are all done and the "put on your 3D glasses" trailer could have been updated to say something like IMAX Laser glasses. We sat there watching trailers for 20 minutes and not once was there anything about these new glasses. I don't mind buying the glasses but its the fact that Sker Kinekor couldn't be bothered to inform the customers at any point from arriving at the cinema to the movie starting, a total of 40 minutes mind you. It would have taken some less than 5 minutes to write on a piece of paper and stick on the door to the cinema that you need the IMAX Laser glasses (once again for a known issue!!) This movie has been out for over 5 days and no one in that time has thought of any solution?? Just goes to show how much Ster Kinekor actually doesn't care about movie goers at all
