Highly disappointed by the reception I received. After calling for calling to confirm the operating times(Saturdays:10-3pm),I arrived with my wife at 13:15.We entered the gallery and 5min into our experience we were kicked out and told that the gallery is closed. It was our first date out since the birth of our second child and was supposed to be a special event for my wife as her first art Gallery experience and I love Baba Tjeko's work but our excitement was sadly ended due to unprofessionalism.

For all the folks that do art galleries on First Thursdays. This place should be your starting point. Once you are here, you walk across the street, and there will be other art galleries along. Inside SMAC, there are beautiful art pieces sitting on 3 floors. I recommend viewing all the art on all the floors.

A beautiful, boutique gallery situated in the heart of the artistic centre of Woodstock, Cape Town. Long a hub for artists, musicians and creative-minded professionals. I visited the gallery at the suggestion of a friend, who knowing my love for art, thought I would enjoy it. I most certainly did. Whilst I did feel it was a bit small in terms of size, it is nevertheless a fantastic gallery with beautiful pieces of art from our talented local artists. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Entry is free as well so I would definitely suggest a visit anytime you are in Woodstock, irrespective of whether you are an art lover or not, it deserves a visit.
