Souvenirs, the negative side of the tourist industry, everyone has basically the same items, in every shop. They did have nice postcards and all were reasonably price.

The Shop at the Top in Cape Town is on top of Table Mountain. You get there by taking the Table Mountain Cableway (5 min) or hiking to the top to the summit. Hiking Table Mountain can take anywhere from 1.5 to 6 hours, depending on your chosen route, fitness level, and hiking pace. The Shop at the Top offers unique merchandise, mainly locally crafted items, and Table Mountain-branded products, with almost all of its items being locally made to support South African businesses. It includes a wide variety of souvenirs to remember your trip to Table Mountain, Cape Town and South Africa. Great stop at the top.

I have visited The Shop at the Top, the main store located in a National Heritage stone building on the summit, just next to the Table Mountain Café. It includes a wide variety of gifts for those at home, where I would highly recommend not to hesitate to bay or pick up something to remember your visit by. here are some photos of the items at the store where I hope it would be helpful for you.
