I absolutely love taking classes with John. If you already have a basic foundation, his lessons are perfect. He breaks everything down step by step. Starting with footwork, then hands, then putting it all together, with lots of repetition to really make it stick. He teaches salsa, bachata, and kizomba, and even at a beginner-intermediate level the classes are both challenging and incredibly rewarding. I’ve learned so much in a short time. This is definitely my favorite dance school for anyone looking to grow beyond the basics!

The owner (John Morrison) does not respect lesson start times, so.....don't have a lesson after the group class at the beginning of each month. He will spend the first part of your lesson time (which you paid for) trying to collect money from his students. Similarly, don't sign up for the first lesson of the day. He will then spend the first 10 mins or so of your lesson setting up his studio for the evening. He talks too much about irrelevant stuff during the lesson... Has multiple businesses on the side so he doesn't appear very invested in his dance students. Finally, he will have no problem taking your money but not delivering a service. It's all about the money with this character! I will not recommend this studio to any of my friends and family.

Outstanding dance instruction. I travel alot on business and always find time to take a dance class or two. It's not often you get classes like this. John is a world class instructor, if you live in or traveling through Cape Town, dont give up the opportunity to learn from the very best!

Excellent place to learn Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba in a relaxed atmosphere but a real dance studio. The teacher has a great sense of humor and there is a lot of flexibility in taking classes as you pay for the class you attend.

I have been dance at Que Pasa with John, for over a year and absolutely love it. his teaching has help jump my dance level. There is also a great group of people attending classes and I have made a lot of great friends. The location on Google is wrong, the studio is now at the Artscape, 5th floor in Jazzarts, free parking in the Sage door parking.
