Olive Branch Deli is a truly exceptional shop. The store itself is beautiful, filled with unique, high‑quality items that immediately catch the eye. What impressed us most, however, was the outstanding service. My wife and I needed to send a gift to a friend in Cape Town, and the team at Olive Branch Deli went above and beyond to make it happen. They not only ensured the gift was delivered promptly, but also took great care to present it beautifully. Their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction left a lasting impression. I commend Olive Branch Deli highly and recommend it to anyone looking for quality products and remarkable service.

Olive Branch Deli on Kloof Street has truly become my favourite ❤️ Every visit feels welcoming and full of positive energy. Their healthy and high quality products really speak for themselves and you can feel the care they put into everything they do. The atmosphere is relaxed, cosy and full of good vibes 😊 A huge thank you to Elen, Liyema, Albert and the rest of the wonderful chill gang for always being so friendly, smiley and kind. You all make people feel at home and that is something special these days 🙏 If you are anywhere nearby, definitely peep in and treat yourself. I had the most incredible experience at Olive Branch Deli today. My boyfriend & I popped in for a browse, it’s one of my favourite spots to peruse because their selection is just so thoughtfully curated, & I love any opportunity to support local businesses. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with smiles & kind offers of assistance. I found a few special things for my mom for Mother’s Day, & when I mentioned this to the lovely woman at the till, she immediately offered to gift wrap them. I was not prepared for just how beautiful it would be, she wrapped everything so thoughtfully, added a mini bouquet,& even finished it off with a spritz of perfume! Hellene (I hope I’m not butchering the spelling), you absolutely rocked my world!! It is not often you come across someone so authentically themselves, whose kindness truly stops you in your tracks. The warmth & kindness she exuded in our little 5 minute interaction made my day & quite honestly, my year, so much so that our chat ended in a big hug & happy tears. I’ll be thinking about that moment for a long time. Hellene, Albert, and the rest of the team are all incredible. This is an absolute must-visit if you’re on Kloof Street, or honestly, if you find yourself anywhere in Cape Town. It’s more than worth the trip & we are already planning our next visit!

What a warm, welcoming experience. Meeting Omero and his sister, Hélène, was truly a highlight of our time in Cape Town, I honestly feel like we’d be friends if we lived nearby. The shop is beautifully curated with special items sourced from around the world, and everything feels thoughtfully chosen. More than anything, it’s the atmosphere that stands out, the genuine warmth and easy connection you feel the moment you walk in. If I lived here, this is exactly where I’d be shopping for anything cooking-related. A must-visit. I hope to see you in NYC!

Nice experience, it's in an understated mini mall. It's like a good candy/food store. Some items are costly but it is worth it in a few cases as you can find the most interesting items that you would not find anywhere else. Love the decor and the staff don't harass you when browsing. I love this store. Go for a unique experience.
