A friend and I did three day-long tours with Ziggy on our visit to Cape Town in June-Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, and Cape Point. She's a wonderful guide-knowledgeable, adaptable, great at offering different options as the day goes on depending on the weather and how her guests are feeling, an excellent driver, and a terrific companion. We visited several wine farms, experiencing both larger operations and smaller boutique farms. Touring Cape Point is always enjoyable-we saw the penguins at Boulders Beach and great views on the Chapmans Peak drive with lots of stops and points of interest in between. On a tour with Lucky and Lost you'll see and learn a lot and have a great time while you're at it!

While unfortunately it was a rainy day in Capetown, Ziggy was our sunshine of the day. We got picked up from the hotel in an impeccable van, hitting wine estates with our lovely, energetic guide! Ziggy is flexible, has amazing historic stories (which she tells in a way so you can listen to it all day!), great energy and best of all she plans the best tour according to your preferences. We truly had a 10/10 experience with her!

We had the absolute best two days with Ziggy and Lucky & Lost! We did two tailor-made tours: one to Franschhoek, visiting Babylonstoren, Anthonij Rupert, and Boschendal, followed by a full day exploring the Cape. That second day was incredible — from the beautiful Kirstenbosch Gardens to honey tasting, seeing the famous penguins, and even visiting an ostrich farm. And the best part: all of it was Ziggy’s own initiative (we were only planning on doing the “standard Cape tour”). I’ve been to Cape Town several times, so it wasn’t all new to me, but Ziggy still managed to surprise and amaze us with new spots and activities. She knows literally everything (and we’re pretty sure everyone) in the region. Being on a tour with her feels like traveling with a friend — full of laughs and great conversations. The days flew by, and I can’t wait to come back to Cape Town and go on another tour with her!

Ziggy and her personal touch on our tour of Cape Town and Cape of Good Hope was like having a family in South Africa. She was reliable, knew someone at every corner we stopped, peppered history with funny stories and chose places we would not be able to find without that special someone who loves her country, her city and wants to share it. We had lunch at one breathtaking vinery and it was really hard to say goodbye. This special level of care during traveling is another memory that will make it into our album and is worth more then one can pay. Ziggy from Lucky and Lost tours is in my address book now! ❤️❤️

I (and my sister and cousin who also came on the tour) cannot recommend Ziggy enough! Her sparkling personality is reason enough to visit Cape Town, and if you’re lucky enough to be headed there, do yourself a favor and book a tour with Lucky & Lost. I wish we had gotten to spend every day of our time there with Ziggy! Her love for her work and city are contagious and I’m already planning my next trip back to Cape Town and my next tour with Lucky & Lost. Our day tour that started in Cape Town and went through Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope contained nonstop facts and fun. Since it was our last day before a late night flight home, Ziggy was accommodating with space to store our luggage and even helped set up a dinner reservation so we could relax before heading to the airport. If you like high energy, high fun, and highly educational tours, Ziggy and Lucky & Lost are the ones for you.
