Kloof Street Public Library is a library in Cape Town. Our library services the community of Tamboerskloof, offering books, newspapers, and other resources for loan. We provide access to computers, including SmartCape Internet access, and offer a dedicated space for children. Our facilities also include a garden and comfortable seating areas. We run a range of educational and fun programs, and patrons can renew library books online. Our library is closed on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Wonderful library with a great spacious kids section. The staff are really nice and super helpful.. There's a little garden at the back as well. Highly recommended.

Beautiful neighborhood library located in a historic former house. Friendly staff, comfortable seating, a good selection of books and periodicals, a dedicated space for kids & parents, along with the usual Internet access computers and copying machine resources. Insider tip: The large backyard garden is a wonderful spot to relax with a good book and the Cape Town summer sun. This neighborhood spot is very conviently located amongst the popular shopping and restaurants of Kloof Street!

Fantastic, well-organised, quiet library with a really good variety of books. Get a card with your ID and proof of accommodation. Takes only seconds!
