Hosting live music in a botanical garden setting
It's a stunning place but they really need to invest in it. Super important sections like the extinction section and explaining what we can do to help, the signs that help us reconnect need to be renewed and looked after. They are also in a corner where barely anyone sees it. Such an important part in that park!! Please keep up with the maintenance
The summer concerts at Kirstenbosch are absolutely magical and one of the best experiences in Cape Town. The setting alone is breathtaking … surrounded by lush gardens with the mountains as a backdrop, it already feels special before the music even starts. The atmosphere is relaxed, festive, and perfect for a picnic with friends or family. The sound quality is excellent, and the lineup of artists always creates a vibrant, joyful energy throughout the evening. It’s such a unique way to enjoy live music in nature, and every concert feels like a celebration of summer. Highly recommend for both locals and visitors : it’s an unforgettable experience.
Had a wonderful time with Friends visiting from Germany. The music was loud and clear enough to hear it and still have a decent conversation. Show was absolutely amazing.
A wonderful place to go and relax. So glad we went. Wonderful restaurant, but you can also take your own picnic and sit somewhere in the shade for lunch. Love the little plastic caps for the coffee and cuppachino. Keeps the coffee hot a lot longer. Love the different exhibitions. Quite an experience. Would love to come here for a movie or "live" show. More than enough parking also.
A wonderful venue, with excellent concerts. The easy going relaxed atmosphere, talented performances, with a great speaker system makes for a memorable event. A jacket is recommended, as the evening cools down after a warm day. Expect lots of fun.
