Highly recommend John 👌🏼 My husband and I did the beginner dance classes at Kelvin and a few private lessons with John before our wedding. Neither of us had danced before and John helped us look like pros for our first dance! John is a wonderful instructor who provides amazing guidance and a safe space for beginners 😊
John was the absolute best teacher!! We only had 3 weeks before our wedding and he managed to teach us a beautiful dance, which we could execute with so much confidence on our wedding day!! Loved it!!
In preparation for our wedding day, we signed up for the "Beginner Survival Dance Class." I was very hesitant to join the classes as I always believed that I had two left feet BUT we had so much fun learning to dance. John and Maxine are both fantastic teachers. She teaches the ladies their steps (step-by-step), he teaches the men their steps and then you come together with your partner to put it all into practice. Both instructors are friendly, easy-going, patient and helpful. We decided to add some one-on-one dance lessons with John just before the big day so that we could practice dancing to our wedding song. He was fantastic. He choreographed a dance sequence that played to our strengths, while still using our song of choice. He made us feel comfortable and confident. We have enjoyed the classes so much that we are now attending the follow on classes. I would 100% recommend John Hamman School of Dance to anyone wishing to learn a new skill or just have fun!
John is a wedding lifesaver! He was patient and experienced and he really helped us prep a beautiful first dance in a super short time! Can definitely recommend him for any couple's wedding dance (especially those who lack rhythm and confidence!)
We worked with John for our wedding dance and it was so much fun! I am not the best dancer but John was kind, caring and professional and we loved every minute of it! Our dance was beautiful and we are wanting to sign up for his weekly dance classes. We highly recommend him if you want to learn how to dance or create a beautiful dance for your special day!
