Honestly exceeded expectations Place was so clean and curated and honestly everything was really awesome . Kiddo enjoyed the planetarium (as did I ) . The rest of the museum was amazing - some sections were closed off due to Maintenece but honestly by the time we were done my feet were tired anyway . Pricing is also super affordable think it’s R60-100 for an adult , shows are also that amount give or take Staff is also really great . Parking is available onsite I’d recommend a visit especially with kids . Went on a sat and it wasn’t all that busy You can also take a tour of the gardens which are really cool 🙂

Overall we enjoyed the museum, however we weren't made aware of the construction beforehand and that a lot of displays were closed to viewing. The fun areas in our opinion. They do offer free entry to 1 of 4 other Iziko museums to make up for it. They do still have certain things on display and each floor was a different area but of course it won't be the same as when they are properly displayed. We still spent over an hour walking around and enjoying what was open, and watching the show in the digital dome! Definitely recommend for the whole family but wait until the construction is done.

Absolutely loved the upgrade! Such a pity there was a pipe burst and we could not access more than 50% of the museum BUT the kids loved the new area that have 5 different interactive play tables we couldn't get them away. The staff was very helpful and explained the situation in derail before we made payment.

We met a friend here for a coffee and a light bite. Very tasty sandwich. Good coffee and pleasant surroundings. The museum has some interesting exhibitions, particularly enjoyed the rock art. And if you like big fish that's interesting too.

My experience was fantastic and interesting. The museum is very good, several different sectors, all beautiful and clean. The ticket was cheap, compared to experience. I recomended this place in Cape Town.
