Specifically the collection points. On a busy day only 3 working out of not less than 8 available points resulting in an endless queue. Fortunately we went early, 3/4 of an hour and we were just in time for lights out When the main feature started, only a few people were seated. Shame on management. Although prohibited, next time I'll consider smuggling in my snacks, rather than to stand in an endless line and missing the start of the main attraction. You don't even deserve a single start.

Nonsensical setup that requires you to wait in the concession line to pick up the 3D glasses required for the show. And they make your PAY for the glasses, with no way to recycle or have them reused. Just have to use them once and throw away!

IMAX with Laser is the ultimate IMAX movie experience and if you are a fan of the Big Screen Cinema movies IMAX Laser is the movie experience that you will want to do with its Huge movie screen excellent picture quality and amazing sound! I watched DC The Flash movie yesterday afternoon with my brother and my sister in law and I must say watching DC The Flash movie in IMAX Laser at Ster Kinekor V&A Waterfront Cape Town was most enjoyable and the 80s Tim Burton Batman fan that I am it was so cool to see Michael Keaton back on the Big Screen as Bruce Wayne/Batman also to hear that original Batman music and see the Bat cave again from the original 1989 Batman and it's sequel Batman Returns with the original Bat mobile and Bat Wing jet was awesum! The movie was a fun super hero movie with a few good cameos and the interaction between Barry Allen's was cool too also Sascha Callies Supergirl was awesum to watch too, she did a really good job as Kara Zor El! Do stay until after the credits end as there is a end credit scene that you won't want to miss!

We were so looking forward to watch the new Avatar at the newly renovated IMAX cinema, but with only 10min left to the movie, it just stopped! No communication from the management, after waiting in theater for almost 40min, we were told it woud be another 45min, but the same time, the new movie slot was about to start with delays too…confusing. Then, we had to leave to stand in a very long slow moving que to get a refund voucher? But we are not from here South Africa, so we will not be able to use this said voucher. So it’s a huge disappointment. No apologies, no explanations, poor handling of the situation.

If I could give zero stars I would. Will never ever go back there in my entire life. Booked online to watch Avatar 2, bought tickets online, get there and you they have "self service computers" to buy tickets which is the exact same as booking online basically, so even though you booked online, you still have to stand in the 1 and only line there is to get to redeem the tickets. This is also the same line where you buy popcorn etc which results a ridiculously long line because everyone is standing in the same line for different things. Also once you get to the front of this line they only then tell you they don't accept cash and that you cant place an order for anything without going back to a "self service computer" and ordinary and paying for it there and then coming back to "redeem" the voucher with your ticket. There are no signs anywhere informing customers of this. It's absolutely ridiculous. So after waiting about an hour for that and trying to go into the movie, there is another line and after waiting about an hour for that, we get told that apparently "due to loadshedding" the projector is fried and they don't have a spare one so the show is canceled and they'll give us tickets for another show on a different date. The fact that they don't have a backup projector is also absolutely ridiculous. We then had to stand in yet another line with the rest of the cinema to get a refund. The cinema still had the cheek not to apologize but to also take peoples half eaten popcorn and drinks back before giving them a refund. The very least they could have done was given them the rest of their snacks as an apology. Absolutely disgusting service. Wasted 3 hours of my life for absolutely no reason. Never seen such bad management in all my life. AVOID THIS CINEMA AT ALL COSTS, its an absolute joke.
