Our waitress Sunshine was an absolute ray of light and made our night! We had a gorgeous time at Harringtons for their Wine and Dine Wednesdays. Lovely experience, great food, and such warm service. Highly recommend! - Abi & Jamie

They are currently running a special. Set three courses paired with tasting five wines. R375pp Sounds pretty good, right? Sadly, we were to be disappointed. For starters we received ONE mushroom arancini ball in a bowl. And a very small bowl (about five spoonfuls) of onion soup and a finger of bread. The flavor of the soup was overpoweringly of beef stock. Below average starters. For mains we ordered sirloin and chips, and linefish with salad. The steak was cooked to temperature. But the tiny portion of chips was cold and floppy. Kingclip was overcooked. Yummy salad. Both portions were small, hopelessly insufficient as a main course. For dessert we had roasted citrus tart. Basically a fruity kind of cheesecake with a creamy topping. Delicious, but very small portion, again. Inattentive service. We more than once had to ask for cutlery. No serviettes on the table. Veeeeeeery slow getting drinks and food. Wine tasting provided by Fairview. They simply pour the wine in the same glasses without rinsing👀 Every one of the wines was truly dreadful, I hate to say. I wouldn’t pay a cent for any of them. Not sure how they survive in a very competitive SA wine industry with high quality, well priced products in abundance. Very bad luck for us on this, because I think the wine tasting changes from time to time. All in all this was a forgettable dinner. Significantly overpriced and poor value offering. Including tip for two people was R930. Our bill for four people is pictured, but this review is only for two of us. The other members of the party shared our views on the diner experience 100% So many better options all over Cape Town. Not to be repeated.

A fun birthday dinner with friends was had at Harringtons, thanks to the great atmosphere, tasty food and drinks, and excellent service from our waitress Sunny! This past weekend truly exceeded expectations, and I’m so glad we chose to celebrate here. Finding a place that offers great food, drinks, music, and service all in one is quite rare these days. We will definitely be back!

After initially going to the wrong door entrance and ending up in a very rustic bar, we finally reached the cocktail lounge on the first floor. We were immediately impressed by the cozy atmosphere and the decor. Cool music at a volume that still allowed for good conversation. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food ( tapas) and the cocktails were great. Highly recommended!
