We had a great 3 day private tour in Cape Town with the guide Shobi (I might have spelt it wrongly!). He was punctual and from day one he was patient, kind and accommodating to our pace. What we appreciated most was his deep knowledge and willingness to share a true local's point of view of life in South Africa. Instead of just showing us the standard sights, he gave us wonderful context, stories and insights that you simple cant find in a guidebook.
We had a great time in our tour with Mee-Aad, he was very kind and super knowledgeable about the area. We felt very taken care of and had an amazing time on our tour. Thank you Mee-Aad for the hospitality and great experience.
We were thoroughly impressed with this tour, which exceeded our expectations in every way. The hotels were nice and most were way above average, the food was delicious most of the time. Mark, our tour guide, was outstanding, and his passion for his work was evident. He was extremely attentive, ensuring that our needs were met, providing excellent suggestions, and going above and beyond his duties. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
We did 3 separate trips using Cullinan tours, they were booked through our travel agent. All well planned and executed. Our guides Redaa and Marius were wonderful and knowledgeable. Especially recommend the Wine Tour. I do recommend their private tours rather than small group as the vans can get cramped. However all 3 were enjoyable!
This review is a year overdue but hopefully late is better than never. Cullinan provided a fantastic experience with my full day tour of Cape Town including 2 hours on Table Mountain. A visit to the spice store was welcome - picked up some fresh turmeric root! I highly recommend them.
