A South African staple that actually supplies libraries because it has such a rare and comprehensive collection that happens to be located on the renowned Long St right here in Cape Town. If you're looking for a rare publication to add to your collection, start here before going anywhere else and save yourself time.

Wonderful library in downtown, inside you can feel a special vibe. Authentic place full of culture and history where you can find new book and second hand ones about several topics! The library is on two floors and it's amazing, armchair everywhere, you can sit down and read and consult books, take your time and decide! Go there early so you have all the time to decide!

This is a lovely place to browse and look for treasures. It stocks mostly South African, African, academic, historical and art books. They also sell antique prints. A lovely place to spend an afternoon. The staff is exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable.
