Everything is lovely and clean and the people are friendly too. But zero direction boards or information desks. Seeking guidance from unfamiliar individuals may increase vulnerability to opportunistic criminals, as it can indicate that a person is unfamiliar with the area or unsure of their surroundings.
I am rating it a 4. Reason being that here is very nice shops and its clean and neat. The only problem i have its that its very expensive and you cannot just buy anything. Also, the people dont look to friendly and some even look down on another person if you do not have status/money. I went for Gorimas and what a nice shop but staff was very slow
The fourth mall I am reviewing. And not to break the fourth mall, but I’m demoting this one from my standard 3 stars to a 2 stars. I do not like the layout. But it’s got a Cinnabon. So that’s something.
Cavendish Square is one of the best shopping centres in Cape Town’s Southern Suburbs. The mall is always clean, modern, and very well maintained, which makes shopping there a comfortable experience. There is a great variety of stores ranging from clothing and electronics to pharmacies, supermarkets, and specialty shops, so you can usually find everything you need in one place. The layout is easy to navigate and there are plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and places to sit and relax after shopping. Parking is generally convenient and security presence makes the environment feel safe for visitors. Located in the heart of Claremont, Cavendish Square has become a central hub for both locals and tourists. Overall it offers a great shopping and dining experience and is definitely one of the top malls to visit in Cape Town.
Such a beautiful place — so many shops right near my house! You can find every kind of store here, but for me and my husband, we had to walk a bit extra to find the one we were looking for… at least we completed our daily steps there! 😄 Christmas vibes are already on, with all the decorations up. There’s Kauai,H&M, Nike, Apple Store, Samsung Store, Pick n Pay, Mr Price, Woolworths, and so many more. There’s also a big seating area for lunch or breakfast and lots of food stalls. Fun fact: According to my husband, if you come here, your pocket will surely be empty!
