This is a rare bookshop: full of gems, accessible online. I'd been searching for a very specific old book for over a decade, I had all but given up hope when I created an alert for it on their website, A few years later, I got the email that they had one. It's beautiful, perfect condition, I'm so happy. No matter how obscure the book you've been looking for, Trust that Blank Books will find it.

Hi, we ordered a book online from your Bid or Buy (BOB) shop on 28 December already, but have not received any communication about our order. I have tried to call your shop on all the available phone numbers (though most phone numbers shown on your website don't exist, or it goes to an unknown wrong number)! We have sent several emails, WhatsApp's and messages on your website contact form, DM's via Bid or Buy and Instagram, but we can not get hold of ANYONE at Blank Books, and no one has bothered to answer any of our messages! We ordered the book for my daughter's birthday which was yesterday (3 Jan), and the lack of communication from Blank Books so far has been very disappointing!! As a loyal book buyer, I have always supported smaller locally owned bookshops, but with this appalling service from Blank Books it's no wonder customers flock to Takealot and Amazon (soon)!!

As an avid reader, the store feels like a second home. Conversations with Stefan are ones you'd have with a friend. There's a wide variety of books at crazy affordable prices. You could spend hours just going through the collection. Highly recommended.
