Was looking for a bunch of books, I was able to find almost all of them within 1 minute of asking for help. The man assisting me there was very welcoming and helpful in which books would be good depending on my interests and strikes up a great deal for all the great novels I purchased.

I’m somewhat of a regular at this store, and each time I come I am greeted with such friendly service. All the staff is always extremely helpful. Truly love this bargain books.

This is honestly the best BB branch I’ve been to. The staff is so kind and helpful. They have the largest “sale” section all year round and such a wide selection of booktok books (if that’s what you’re into) at great prices. It’s always such a pleasure going into that store. I sometimes come looking for one thing and leave with 10 books just because of their amazing prices and selection. Alex, Matthew and Clement are just awesome. They’re always keen to assist when I’m looking for something specific. This is one bookstore I’ll keep coming back to. Forget Exclusive Books, shop at Bargain Books.

I used to absolutely love visiting Bargain Books Cavendish. It was one of my favorite places, a true safe space where my husband and I would spend hours browsing. He would always leave with a stack of books, and I cherished those quiet moments in what felt like a sanctuary. However, recently, the store has become nearly unbearable to shop in. Every time we visit, it’s on a busier day, and without proper air conditioning, the atmosphere is hot, stale, and suffocating. It gets so overwhelming that I often find myself fanning with my hands or stepping out just to catch my breath. The heat and stuffiness make what used to be a relaxing experience incredibly uncomfortable. Some of the staff are wonderful, but I feel so bad for the poor young lady who’s always coughing. It’s clear that the store’s air quality has deteriorated, and it’s likely affecting her too. I genuinely love this store, but I won’t be coming back until the conditions improve. December is approaching, and I can’t imagine how unbearable it’ll be during the busiest season. Until then, I’ll be taking my book shopping elsewhere.
