The Cape Town Open Book Festival has found its home in the Homecoming Centre and the Avalon Auditorium does not disappoint! From sound to seating to lighting you will find that the entire experience is both slick and professional and yet simultaneously intimate and dare I say - ‘homely’. Well done to the organisers and the venue for co creating what is set to be a world class literary festival !

Just saw an excellent production of Shirley Valentine! Highly recommend!!Great seating and lighting. The aircon was really uncomfortably cool though and a number of audience members were audibly sneezing throughout both acts of the show. I don't think turning it up 1 or 2 degrees would make it too stuffy.

Always nice to experience going to the theatre and nice that they are putting on community shows. We went to watch the College of Magic Close-Up Championships. The performers were outstanding. Pity the MC was not as polished and the camera work was not quite on point.

Amazing little theatre as part of the bigger HCC precinct. Highly recommended any show in this space.
