What a dissapointing experience. Visited the place on referral but left extremely dissapointed. We were seated and ordered drinks which arrived after about 20 min. We were 1 of 3 tables at the restaurant which made this even worse. It looked like there was only 1 waiter to serve these customers in a very large space. We ordered food and waited over an hour for 4 plates of food. The food arrived one plate at a time. While we waited we took the cutlery but quickly returned it as it was dirty almost like it was wiped down instead of washed. The food was below average, and that is an overstatement to say the least. We waiter was so relaxed and clearly reacted as the experience we had was normal to them. Defenitely not worth the drive or the effort. Trully dissapointed that such a beautiful venue has lost the opportunity to be great!

It is very rustic but why not, I der trees on the north KwaZulu coast. It is very uniques, dirt road to get to. But nice, food was very tasty but flies where an issue, could do with those 'be gone fly' fans. Had Prego was great size and tasty but no kick. But everyone was happy. The R&R jug was not very strong, needs some dark rum added as well. overall very enjoyable, but deconstructed don't Pedro, why do I need to mix it.

We had read some good and some bad reviews but decided to give them a try as they are one of very few restaurants that are quite literally on the beach and we were really in the mood for some good seafood. Our experience turned out to be fairly average at best. We booked a table and on arrival we were seated very quickly and the order for our drinks was taken. Once they arrived we didn’t see our waitress for about half an hour and finally flagged down the manager to place our order for our starters. After about 15 minutes the people at the table next to us said they had been waiting for their starters for almost an hour. We brushed it off a little as we weren’t in a rush but also didn’t want to wait another hour for our mains so we tried to find our waitress but then finally just went and ordered our food at the bar. When the food finally came it was a little bit disappointing, the mussel pot starter is a watery sauce not a creamy garlic like you would expect and the cheesy garlic roll was better than nothing. Our mains arrived shortly after to our surprise (a platter for two). The food was fairly average, at a total spend of almost 1k one would expect really tasty food but the food was a bit bland and I had honestly had tastier food from ocean basket in gauteng. Our mussels that came with the platter were the same as the mussel pot starter but they had burnt the sauce which the waitress quickly exchanged for some more calamari as she said if she replaced it it would taste the same as it was the whole batch that was burnt. The saving grace for the restaurant is it’s location and atmosphere. It has a great vibe and an amazing setting but we would probably look for a place with better food and service next time.

Great atmosphere, beautiful ocean view, and you can walk on the beach. Nice play area for the children. Delicious and well priced food. Seafood platter is a must! Staff is very friendly and the service is great! Would love to go again
