First impressions will forever be crucial. As a rare visitor to this mall living in another province, this supermarket is pristine and beautifully laid out, the choices and selections are extensive, and everything on display was appealing to the eye. The quality of the produce and freshly cooked and baked offerings were as alluring as the irresistible aromas. Definitely our grocer of choice when we are in the area again.
Lovely, spacious and well laid out Pick n Pay, just sad that you can't scan your smart shopper card there, cashiers require you to punch the long number in by yourself. For this reason I try to avoid tjis shop and rather shop at Checkers.

My wife and I have been on holiday from Pretoria for a day or 2 and went to the store yesterday for some fruit and water. My wife was skeptical about the yellow cling peaches and a young man Smiso assured her that it was very sweet. He went the extra mile and took one, washed it and sliced it for us and another client. Of course it was sweet and we bought this and other goods. What an ambassador. Train him and keep him. Great service all round.
Shoe what an experience. I took a snap of the shopfront and veg area, just to show the general feel of the store as I always do. I was approached by the assistant store Manager in a very hostile and aggressive manor. He was not happy with the fact that I was taking a photo. His reason being that it is a Family store and privately owned and he does not like me taking photos. I tried to explain to him that it was for my Google review but he said he did not care and i am not allowed photos. It is a public store and I cannot see the problem of taking a photo for free advertising?? I never had a problem with this before. Even stranger, we were then followed through the shop as we completed our shopping, not sure what they hiding?? This is a very nice shop, spacious with great variety. They are also priced rite. But beware, do not snap the camera, lest you want to be followed... very spooky
