I would highly recommend Conchilla to anyone! I celebrated my 50th birthday at this beautiful venue on 25 July, and the wonderful husband-and-wife team, Leatitia and Jaco, together with their son SJ, were absolutely brilliant hosts. They went above and beyond to make my celebration extra special and even beautifully decorated the table we had booked. A special thank you to our wonderful waiter, Soso, and to Skinny Santa too! So many lovely people took such good care of us and made the entire experience unforgettable. Thank you, Leatitia, Jaco, SJ and the whole Conchilla team, for making my 50th birthday so incredibly special! 🩵

“Our Anniversary Night We’ll NEVER Forget 🍍👑” What an absolutely magical evening! We met the Owner of the restaurant not knowing it is his place. We were treated so special. We went in for our anniversary and mentioned that a drink served in a hollowed-out pineapple was on my wife’s wishlist. They said “no we don’t do that”… only to surprise us minutes later with a pineapple overflowing with Malibu! I’ve never seen service like this. The owners made us feel SO welcome — they treated us Vaalies like VIPs from the second we walked in. This isn’t just food and drinks. It’s heart, it’s showmanship, it’s making core memories. Officially our vote for Best Restaurant, Pub, Club in South Africa. 🇿🇦🔥 If you want a night that feels special, this place is a non-negotiable must-visit. We’ll be back, and we’ll be bringing everyone we know.

Conchilla is such a fun spot to try when you’re in Ballito needing a little cocktails, tapas style food and a view. They have fun array of drinks and a cute food section of choices that are quite niche! My recommendations for choosing food: • their fried hake and chips. Oh my goodness, probably the best hake I’ve ever tired in my life. I love that it came in like 3 long fried strips. They were so crispy and that fish was like butter. The tartare sauce is a nice dipping sauce and is very classic! Their chips are well seasoned and perfectly cooked! • their chicken ramen. Okay Conchilla we see you with the popping flavours. That broth is to die for, I slurped every last drop at the end. I loved the crispy chicken and the very juicy vegetables. My only comment was they forgot my ramen egg 🍳 which I was very sad 🤣, don’t know if the mama chicken came into kitchen to steal it back but I will let it slide. 🛝 Overall such a fun vacation spot to drink and eat. Staff are so friendly. I know this place pumps at the night and hosts lots of Djs which can be fun if you wanna have a nice time out!

Went there last night, late at night. The atmosphere was great, I will definitely come back here again for some good partying. The DJ was great, accommodated everyone. The sushi was great, I really enjoyed that. However, I was extremely disappointed with the food, I couldn’t even finish it, maybe they dont focus more on food at that time since everyone there at that time is just focused on drinking. Next time I come here, im just coming for drinks and vibes. I have to say though that they are very reasonably priced.

Amazing food, couldn't pick a favorite. Speedy, tasty and perfect for the atmosphere. Cocktails needs a bit of work, but it is still early stages and only my opinion. The people I was with loved the cocktails. Interior is warm, classy and well executed. Place is kept clean. Friendly staff and manager. Definitely my new favorite hangout spot in Ballito. Well done guys.
