If you are looking for the ultimate steakhouse experience, look no further than Butcher Boys. My recent visit was nothing short of spectacular, delivering on every single front from the main course straight through to dessert. The Main: The Fillet Steak The star of the show was undoubtedly the fillet steak. It was cooked to absolute perfection and wonderfully soft, honestly, it was like eating butter. You rarely find a cut of meat that just melts in your mouth quite like this one did. To top it off, it was salted perfectly, enhancing the natural, rich flavors of the beef without being overwhelming. A phenomenal steak needs phenomenal sides, and Butcher Boys absolutely delivered. The Chips: We are talking proper crispy chips. They had that perfect, satisfying golden crunch. The Onion Rings: Just as impressive, beautifully fried, and delivering that exact crispy crunch you crave alongside a good steak. A Desert: Just when I thought the meal couldn't possibly get any better, we finished with the apple pie cheesecake. It was an absolute triumph. It perfectly balanced the comforting, spiced flavors of a classic apple pie with the rich, creamy decadence of a cheesecake. It was, simply put, absolutely divine. Butcher Boys knows exactly what they are doing. Between the butter-soft fillet, the flawlessly crispy sides, and a dessert I will be dreaming about for weeks and would visit more often if I was able to afford to do so. This steakhouse gets top marks across the board and I highly recommended it.
