Visited this little German gem in Salt Rock twice during my holiday. They are pet friendly and we were welcomed with a big smile by our waiter, Ray. Great vibe, outside seating and inside. Free parking on the premises but can get full on busy days.
I had for the first time in my live a erdinger beer and it was lovely (ladies draught R45 (300ml).
On my first visit I had the sausage plate which is 3 type of Bavarian sausages cut up and served with gherkins and mustard. Took a side potato salad with it. It was very tasty and quite a big portion for a starter (R105).
On my 2nd visit for supper I had the Swiss pork schnitzel (R169), swopped the chips and veg for red cabbage and had the lovely potato salad again! Very tasty and very big portions. Clean bathrooms and overall a very nice vibe to this establishment. I can recommend it to anyone. There is also a playground for the kids and is wheelchair friendly.

The food was excellent — delicious sausages, homemade-style potatoes, and slightly sour cabbage that was still full of flavor and paired perfectly with the meal.
Everything we ordered had that proper homemade touch and tasted fantastic. You can feel the authenticity in both the food and the atmosphere.
A great place to visit if you want real German comfort food and a unique dining experience

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Gem of a restaurant Highly Recommended!
We recently visited Siggi’s German Restaurant and left thoroughly impressed from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, setting the tone for what turned out to be a truly memorable dining experience.
The service was exceptional. The staff are genuinely friendly — not in a rehearsed, going-through-the-motions way, but in a way that makes you feel like a valued guest rather than just another table. It’s clear that a great team culture has been built here.
What really stood out was seeing the owner hands-on and present throughout our visit. That personal touch makes all the difference, and it shows in every aspect of the restaurant — the attention to detail, the pride in the food, and the overall atmosphere of care.
Speaking of food — the dishes were excellent. Authentic, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The kind of meal that has you planning your next visit before you’ve even asked for the bill. And for the quality on offer, the prices are very reasonable, making Siggi’s outstanding value.
Whether you’re a fan of German cuisine or simply looking for a great meal in a friendly, well-run restaurant, Siggi’s deserves a spot at the top of your list. We’ll absolutely be back!
