Young Enterprise Trust is a non-profit organization in Wellington. We provide a hands-on experience for students, guiding them from an initial idea to running a real business. Our program includes validating ideas with business professionals at speed coaching sessions and opportunities to sell products at local markets. We also facilitate students pitching their businesses to judges and competing against top businesses in regional and national competitions. We welcome volunteers to share real-world experience and support students in building their businesses.

Amazing experience!!! YES does such a great job of supporting students in their seed business ideas and growing them. Such a supportive team of committed individuals who just are there to support not only your business to become better but you as well. Also in university you find that a lot of skills you learn from the YES process overlaps. If you are considering of doing it, give it a go! You won't regret it!!!

Being part of YES 2022 is one of the best decisions I have made! The opportunities given to students are AMAZING along with a whole network of business supporters and mentors that can easily be contacted. YES effectively combines theory and practice to truly get a taste of the "business world".

Young Enterprise is a waste of time and money for young students, we were promised mentors and feedback but still have not received anything.(not even an email back). We are supposed to be giving a percentage of our profits to YES as a payback method for their "Help". Wasted time, wasted money, waste talent.
