Stopped here for a couple of weeks and its definitely one of the best hostels i have stayed in in New Zealand! Everyone in the hostel especially the owners are so friendly. The cleanliness of the facilities is great and the beds are comfy. The hostel location is also very convenient with everything being within a reasonable walking distance
Favourite Hostel I've stayed at in NZ! I went here following the recommendation of another backpacker & it exceeded my expectations. The rooms are so nice with super high ceilings (I was even able to stand on my top bunk without reaching the ceiling), the nicest bathrooms I have seen in any hostel so far, kitchen equiptet with everything I needed, cute lounge area indoor and outdoors and the whole place felt like you are "home" rather than in a hostel. Everything was clean, laundry was quick & easy, parking is the only thing I could see potentially being an issue depending on the season but for me it worked out perfectly and you can ask for help at reception (I reckon parking is an issue anywhere in Wellington too). You don't need a car though as CBD is walking distance and shops, harbour, restaurants are all close by. Lovely owners & lovely staff. 100% recommend staying in this hostel, I had the best time. I stayed in this hostel for a month and a half, and it became so much more than just a place to sleep. The spaces are always clean, well-organized, and clearly cared for with attention to detail. But what truly makes this place special isn’t just the facilities… it’s the people. Wellington became “home” for me thanks to the connections I made here. The friendships, the conversations in the kitchen, the shared moments — all of it made my experience unforgettable. Nice hostel, not too big, with clean bathrooms and rooms. It has a good kitchen and is close to the CBD. During the weekends, parking at Victoria University is free, which is very convenient. For sure we will return.
I really loved my stay here. The bed was really comfy but the room wasn't spacious. The kitchen and bathroom was really clean and the hostel had a nice atmosphere. The host was super friendly and even offered me the big bottom bed when I didn't get it at the Check-in because I was staying longer than the other guests. Would definitly come again!
