Woodburn Reserve

There are a couple of ways to enter this reserve. At the top of the hill near 132 Bing Lucas Drive, Tawa or at the bottom of the hill near 5 Woodburn Drive. When you enter there is a maze of walking tracks (some cleared recently) of varying quality and 4wd tracks. There is no sign posting anywhere I could see except at the entrances to note the reserve. Some tracks - primarily the 4wd ones - are very steep. Volunteers are doing a good job planting, removing invasive species but it is still rough in parts.

Great place for an on leash dog walk. Some sections are through bush and others more open with views over Granada North and farm land. Can be quite steep in places.
