We had a fabulous time at the workshop. Our guide was terrific. Hazel did a wonderful job explaining everything and answering all our questions. We will definitely recommend this tour to family and friends.

20260807 - got ticket for sgd 48.85. Was fascinated by the realistic props used and have good understanding of the history of how weta workshop began and how it grew and also the art of prosthetic makeup. Interesting experience and got to take some photos towards end of tour.

Film Fans? Then take the time to stop by. Karl was an amazing storyteller though our tour. Seeing all the 150+ movies that Wētā has worked on and some I didn't know they had a part in. Seeing all the armor from many of my teenage movies and on into my adulthood. Just keep in mind you can only take photos at certain times and in parts you can't due to copyrights. But with that aside...its so much fun.

Absolutely loved our tour with Izzy, she made the whole experience fun, interactive and had so much knowledge! I also mentioned upon booking it was my partners birthday, and he was given an amazing gift, so incredibly kind of the Weta team! Thank you so much for an awesome experience!

To be honest, we were underwhelmed by the tour. The crew was amazing and we were blessed with an unexpected visit from Sir Richard Taylor which was incredible. Tour itself is supposed to last 90min. You should be able to see a lot and we did…but we didn’t see much at the same time. You get to see 4 different rooms, don’t have a lot of time to enjoy the main one, and are allowed to take pictures only in the last one which doesn’t have much. The space dedicated to the Weta items is limited, especially LOTR. Perhaps a permanent weta exhibition space on top of the workshop would help. But in the end, the tour helps you understanding and appreciating how they contributed to the best movies in the world, so enjoy!
