We always buy our supplies here and at Haere Mai, but today we experienced racism from the older lady at the checkout. When our staff handed our discount card to me so I could give it to the cashier, the cashier asked me, “Are you sure this is your card? Why are you using her card?” i explained that we work for the same company and I am buying for the business, but she didn’t even apologize after realizing the situation. It was a very disappointing experience, especially as regular customers.

This store is such an incredible benefit to the community. Not only do they have a wonderful mix of rare/niche items (have bought Korean plum extract from them) and daily fresh items (bean sprouts, kimchi, tofu, etc), but the prices are reasonable and the owners will actively source products that you request—but I haven't had to yet, because they've had everything I've needed always! Love this store so much.

Great choice of Asian cuisine ranging from tons of frozen stuff to packaged goods. Prices aren't that bad considering most of it is likely imported. I was able to find a lot of items here that weren't available in the local High Street or New World. Great place.

Good range of reasonably priced imported Asian goods (mostly food). They have Japanese, Vietnamese, Philipino and Korean, amongst others. The foods available include noodles, snacks, spices, seasonings, sauces, fresh and frozen vegetables, dumplings, buns, canned goods and more. They have individual ice creams (from Japan and Korea) and cold drinks, as well as fresh local tofu. There are also some cookware and personal care items. The staff are friendly and can often help if you can't understand the packaging (but most items have a sticky label with information in English).
