I have to agree with a lot of things already pointed out by others - awkward designs for the showers, booked out pool, poor communication… When we went there, the main pool had multiple sessions happening, the therapeutic one was all booked out because of lessons. We tried to stay out of the way on the side on the opposite side of the pool from where the lesson was taking place but were still asked to leave. To at least try to get in the water we went to the kids area but that was closing in 10 minutes. The staff did not communicate between themselves because we kept asking where we could go and were being sent places where apparently we couldn’t go. Overall the pool is not in a welcoming space, the harsh interior makes you not want to stay for long. The spa area is a bit weird too, you are surrounded by walls and facing the floors from eye level. Probably its quite dissapointing because we were hoping for nice swimming facilities from Welly but oh well.

Rude staff. All the pools were booked out by schools, staff gave no heads up before letting us pay for our tickets. When i asked they said "its all online" insinuating that should've known to do that, when surely a simply sign saying "all pools are booked" would've been clearer?

Only went for the showers and never have been more disappointed in my life, its $5 just to use them and the side stalls are very high (almost up to my hip as i am 5’1) so 0 privacy and there are no shelves or anything to put your belongings in the shower, they say the showers are hot but they stay hot for like 30 secs, the rest of the time it is just mildly cold. They are also sensor showers so be careful when getting in as to not get your dry stuff wet. The actual bathroom is big though with lots of changing room…shame the showers are so poorly designed.

It has a few different pools for different functions, national games are usually held in the large pool including water polo, kayak polo and so on. They also offer swim classes for kids and adults. There's a sauna and spa too. The baby pool is separated from the toddler and kids pool. Ample carpark at the back with a smaller carpark at the front entrance. It is located right next to the library.
