Great place to walk, run, mountain bike with shared trails and a great vine. Multiple routes for all activities means there are endless options and distances to take. No run or ride has to be the same. Meets up with the Brooklyn wind turbine and Zealandia fence line as well as the trails out to Red Tovks

The actual reserve is great, the recommended routes on Google, and the app's path maps, are not. At least for the route up toward Karepa Street, there's not very clear directions and the paths don't show up the way you actually see them. I found my way by following the signs for Brooklyn wind turbine. I think Apple Maps might be more accurate, but I can't be sure.

Great short walk from Wellington central and can be further extended to wind turbine, Hawkins hill. Great views and well marked. 😃😃

Beautiful place to walk for 30 minutes to an hour. We did the walking only trail, and it had lots of muddy patches and thorny plants. I recommend long thick pants and hiking boots.
